DAY 1 EXECUTION

Raffles Place MRT Station on 10 October 2008

10a.m. to 8.30p.m.

as the 7 of us are the committee of the team,

we reached school at about 8,

some stationed at the MRT while some

were in school.

we had to carry the NEWater from school to the MRT station.

we had to use trolleys and got our shirts and booth set up by 10:)

it was the first day we were doing this and it was very interesting

as we were testing it out how it would be like for us to handle a booth

by ourselves for the first time of implementation of our CSP.

Singa needs guidance all the time.

During our first trial, two of them accompanied Singa around

to help her with the crowd

slowly our awareness campaign was picking up - before

the lunch hour crowd

we were very excited and couldnt wait for our

banners to be filled with Post-It sticky pads!!

when it was not very crowded yet...

we were gaining the response and providing them with social awareness

on Keeping Left on Escalators!

during the LUNCH HOUR PERIOD

and brochures and keychain from SMRT

and Metallurgy and Quickbite Vouchures

more and more people came to our booth.

they were wondering what were we doing, what were we selling/ what were the banners for.

and the working crowd people as they used to look upon to Singa when they

to gain the awareness of the mass working crowd,

we used the banners and stood near the escalators and thanked the

commuters who keep on the left of escalators!

WE started off with:

briefing session with the St Nicholas Girl's School helpers

our students having a discussion and briefing

from our committee members!

St Nicholas Girl's School girls

were our little helpers at work:)

writing our 'thank you notes' :)

to all the commuters in Singapore who

keep on the left of escalators

the helpers drawing out their own unique art piece which will

state 'Thank you for keeping left!'

instead of just at the booth.

Our volunteers from St Nicholas Girls School were diligently helping out

and created awareness to the mass by standing

near the escalators to thank people who keep on the left!:)
